Ross McIntosh

Ross has more than nine years of experience developing advanced AI and data analytics solutions that tackle complex challenges in industries such as Water, Financial Services, Media and Manufacturing. At Sand Technologies, Ross has led the development of an AI-fueled alert-management system for Thames Water, the UK’s largest water and wastewater company. Through intelligent monitoring, the alert manager contributes to Thames’ Water’s environmental sustainability goals by preventing large-scale sewage discharges. Ross also directs projects that capture pollution data, assess risks and automate responses to environmental threats. Ross holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa.
