Phillip Edwards

Phillip Edwards is Vice President of Healthcare, Americas at Sand Technologies, where he leads efforts to deploy AI-driven solutions that strengthen health systems. His work focuses on rural health equity, with flagship initiatives in Arkansas, Missouri and Rwanda, where Sand Technologie’s “Blue Room” Health Intelligence Center supports care for more than 30 million people. A seasoned business development leader, Phillip brings expertise in building partnerships across academia, government and philanthropy to address systemic challenges in maternal health, workforce resilience and access to care. Before Sand, he helped scale innovative ventures at the intersection of technology and impact. He holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
