Event Details:

Around the world, health systems are under pressure to do more with less—expand access, improve quality and build resilience in the face of rapid population growth and resource constraints. Meeting these challenges requires more than incremental change; it calls for connected systems that turn data into action at every level of care.

At this year’s Africa Health Tech Summit, we’ll explore how AI and connected data-driven health intelligence tools enable faster decisions, smarter resource use and stronger, more resilient health systems. Through speaking engagements and exhibition spaces, our team and core partners will share live demonstrations of innovative solutions, including our Health Operating System (HOS) and AI-powered tools for investment planning and decision support. We’ll also present the scaling of HOS currently underway as well as case studies that reveal how these solutions are driving impact across Africa.

Attend our Plenary Session

Technology, data systems, and the power of artificial intelligence are rapidly reshaping what is possible in healthcare. In Africa, where the continent bears 24% of the global disease burden but has only 3% of the world’s health workforce, these tools are essential. Harnessing real-time data and AI-driven insights offers a way to bridge critical gaps, optimize scarce resources, and chart a path toward resilient, equitable, and sustainable health systems.

Under the title “From Data to Impact: Partnerships for Intelligent, Connected Health Systems”, this 75-minute panel discussion will explore how intelligence-driven platforms, connected facilities, and strong public–private partnerships can transform healthcare delivery and accelerate progress toward Universal Health Coverage (UHC). By moving beyond fragmented approaches to create integrated, data-informed systems, health leaders can strengthen primary care, improve policy and planning, and bring patient-centered care closer to communities.

Moderated by Sand, join us as we explore this question with high-level panelists from the Ministry of Health of Rwanda, AWS, The Global Fund, and Society for Family Health.
